PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
NovaGreen Silicate is a 100% soluble formulation of potassium silicate and potassium phosphite. A liquid supplement, it is quickly absorbed by roots, through leaf tissue and transferred from cell-to-cell. Silica, now considered to be an essential nutrient, is important to plant growth and drastically affects plant health. Plants grown indoors, in hydroponic or soilless systems, are completely void of this important element, unless specifically added, and outdoor soil can be excessively deficient in silica. Silicon is a vital element of epidermal cell walls and occurs predominantly as silica. It strengthens plantís cell walls helping it to resist insects, molds, mildew, drought, disease, heat and stress and improves the plantís leaf erectness and photosynthesis efficiency. By including NovaGreen Silicate in your program you can expect significant increases in THC, crop health, growth rates, and productivity.
THE PHOSPHITE DIFFERENCE:
NovaGreen Silicateís unique formulation also contains potassium phosphite. Phosphites improve the plantís natural immune system, Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR), against a host of environmental and other stress. It has greater solubility than phosphate (P2O5) materials and is more readily available for uptake. Unlike phosphates, plants easily absorb these forms of phosphite ions (H2PO3), which are incorporated into cells and have excellent movement in both the xylem and phloem. They move easily into leaf tissue, branches and roots. With the combination of two potassium sources, flowering, bud growth and size is increased.
APPLICATION & MIXING:
NovaGreen Silicate is used at the rate of 1% solution (1 gallon per 100 gallons water). It is an alkaline material with a pH of 12. Do NOT mix concentrates together or with highly acidic materials or materials that have a pH less than 7. Always fill tank ĺ full with water before adding concentrates. Application through low volume sprayers in not recommended. Itís ideal for use in most spray equipment, and fertigation, irrigation, drip or hydroponics systems.
STORAGE & HANDLING:
NovaGreen Silicate should be stored in normal warehouse conditions. Always store in original container and keep tightly sealed. Do not store above 100o F for long periods of time. Do not store below 32 o F. Refer to SDS for additional information on storage, handling, safety, disposal and shipping.
